Welcome to Wade Hampton Little League (WHLL)
Where the love of the game begins — and every child finds a place to grow, play, and belong.
Located at the crossroads of Greenville and Taylors, South Carolina, WHLL is a community-based, volunteer-run Little League serving boys and girls ages 3 to 13. Our mission is simple: create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.
A Place for Every Player
Whether it’s a child taking their first swing in Wee Ball, learning teamwork in Coach Pitch, or competing in Kid Pitch Baseball and Softball, WHLL has a division for every age and skill level.
We focus on:
-
Fun – Every season is about enjoying the game, making friends, and celebrating small successes.
-
Development – Our coaches follow age-appropriate practice plans and drills, ensuring players learn fundamentals at every stage.
-
Competition – Older divisions bring the excitement of player pitching, strategic plays, and competitive growth — all while emphasizing sportsmanship.
Growing the Game – Baseball & Softball
While baseball has been our foundation, WHLL is proud to be expanding its Little League Softball program, giving young athletes the chance to develop fastpitch skills, learn teamwork, and prepare for middle school and beyond. Our vision is to grow softball into a flagship offering alongside baseball, ensuring opportunities for every player.
More Than Just Games
Our home at Butler Springs Park is more than a ball field — it’s a community hub. Here, kids discover the joy of teamwork, parents volunteer and cheer, and families connect. Through concessions, score keeping, and coaching, every family helps create the WHLL experience.
Investing in the Future
As one of Greenville County’s fastest-growing Little Leagues, we’re committed to building for the future. Our Five-Year Plan includes expanding facilities, adding modern amenities like shaded seating and electronic scoreboards, and creating additional fields to meet rising demand. These improvements will let WHLL host tournaments, welcome more families, and ensure every child has a place to play.
