Hey everyone,
What a great year with Wade Hampton Little League! We hope the kids had fun, learned a lot and you all as parents and family were able to see the forward progress being made as a league.
This Sunday (November 6th) at 4:00 pm we will be having a clean out of the lost and found, concessions sale to blowout the inventory remaining and lastly, will elect the new Board of Directors for the upcoming year.
Here is where we stand for the upcoming year as to people who have volunteered thus far and where we are short:
President- Brock Stevens
VP- DeShawn Hall
Secretary- Jessica Traylor
Concessions- Jessica Traylor
Communications/Information Officer- Sharee Hall
Scheduling- David Burger
Equipment- Mark Ranger
Player Agent- Jay Diehl
Sponsorship/Opening Day- Stephanie Lofink, Sarah Kohl
That leaves the following positions open:
Treasurer
Website/Registrations
Safety Officer
Coaching Coordinator
Umpire Coordinator
1 additional person with Sponsorship/Opening Day
Without these Board of Director positions filled, we are in jeopardy of having to shut down the league. This would involve forfeiting hard earned money to the District to distribute accordingly based on new boundaries and Wade Hampton Little League would be dissolved.
Please attend on Sunday at 4:00 pm at the concession stand at Butler Springs, look through the lost and found, buy your kids some things out of concessions for even cheaper than normal and hear what needs to be said about the future of the league. As a volunteer run organization with over 100 kids playing regularly each season, that means we probably have over 200 parents and family involved with the league. Your help is needed!
